Okay, this was just too funny. Boo asked to borrow my "work glasses" last week. I said no, because I need them...you know, for work. So I popped the lenses out of some big sunglasses that she had for dress-up. Then, Boo announced that she needed to wear a dress to school, or-more precisely-a "go to a meeting dress, like you wear". You see, it was library day at school, and she needed to dress appropriately.

How do I love RSS, let me count the ways...
I love the convenience of having all the random stuff I would otherwise search for, come right to me.
I love that I can see at-a-glance if the bloggers I enjoy have posted anything new.
Everyone in my extended family blogs, and now I only look in one spot to catch up, rather than 25. (Big extended family :)
I have found some great cooking and eating sites by searching for more "feeds"
Here's my public blogroll:

My friend Flickr
As many of you have already discovered, there is a lot of fun just waiting to be had on Flickr. I have a picture that's just waiting for a mosaic treatment :) and then, well, we all need our own Librarian Trading Card, don't we? Did you know that there is a Flickr group dedicated to pictures of pretty pedicures? True story.
There are a couple of things I think about when it comes to photos, though...1)privacy and 2) safety. As a parent, I try not to post pictures of my kids in a public venue, and certainly nothing that indicates where we live. As fun as all this stuff is to play around with, I try to be careful, and make sure I'm choosing privavcy settings, rather than automatically going with the default settings. One of the things I like about Flickr, is how ieasy it is to pull photos from Flickr and post them other places I use, such as Facebook and my other, personal blog. There again, making sure I am actively looking at, and deliberately choosing privacy settings is really important.
